Berman Center: The Making of Super Heroes/Heroines with Siona Benjamin

Siona Benjamin will lead a brief discussion about Indian comic books and Superman before students will create their own superhero. Materials will be provided! Siona Benjamin is a painter from Mumbai, now living in the US. Her work reflects her background of being brought up Jewish in a Hindu and Muslim India. She was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship 2011 to India and a second Fulbright 2017 to Israel.
